February 16, 2024, GF’s Godavari College of Engineering Jalgaon’s students embarked on a virtual journey to the USA at the informative session ” Career and  Higher Education at USA” held on February 16th 2024.

 Dr Vijaykumar Patil (Principal), warmly welcomed the esteemed guest speaker,  Ms Aditi Lele. Through captivating visuals and insightful explanations, Ms. Lele demystified the US education system, highlighting its strengths and potential challenges. The session provided valuable guidance on selecting the right college/university, navigating the intricacies of scholarship opportunities, and maximizing internship and placement prospects.

Sports  Week at  GF’s  Godavari  College  of  Engineering  Jalgaon

    The GF’s Godavari College of Engineering Jalgaon, Sports Week came to an exciting close on February 10th, 2024, with thrilling matches across various sports!

On day one,  Dr  VijayKumar  Patil (Principal GF’S GCOE), inaugurated the event and elaborated on the importance of sports in our life in his address to the students. Sports Director  Dr  Aasif  Khan, all the head of departments and students of GF’s GCOE Jalgaon were present on this occasion.

  Highlights  of  the  Sports  week:-

  Cricket:  The E&TC Boys team emerged victorious, defeating the Mechanical team in a nail-biting final.

  Box  Cricket (Girls):  The Royal Challengers AIDS team showcased their skills and teamwork, clinching the championship title.

  Football:  The First Year team Strikers FC displayed their prowess on the field, edging past the Third Year Computer ( Polytechnic ) students in the final match. 

    Heartiest congratulations to all the winning teams!    

All the students team shown their, dedication, sportsmanship, and talent truly throughout the week. This event wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless efforts of the organizers, participants, and supporters. Special thanks to our sports Director Dr Aasif Khan, who made it possible, with a short notice.

Expert talk on ” Career  Opportunities in Piping Design  Engineering and Construction”

The Asian Academy of  Professional Training Pune hosted an insightful  expert talk on ” Career  Opportunities in Piping Design  Engineering and Construction” on February 5th, 2024, at 12:45 PM, at  GF’s  Godavari College of Engineering Jalgaon.

Renowned speaker  Mr Ravi Jorigal from Asian Academy of Professional Training Pune shared valuable insights to the degree and diploma mechanical engineering students and made aware about exciting career opportunities awaiting in Piping Design, Engineering & Construction!

 The students Learn about:-

” Road Safety Awareness Program”

Yesterday on Feb. 02, 2024, a, ” Road Safety Awareness Program”, was organised by RTO Jalgaon in association with IQAC, at GF’s Godavari College of Engineering Jalgaon. Mr Shyam Lohi ( RTO Jalgaon), along with Mr Ganesh Patil ( Assistant RTO Inspector) and Mr Sachin Rathore ( Assistant RTO Inspector), were available as a chief guest and guide for this program. Dr VijayKumar Patil (Principal GF’S GCOE), given a warm welcome and felicitation to the guests. Prof Hemant Ingale ( Dean Academics), Prof Dipak Zambre ( Coordinator Polytechnic), and all the Heads of Departments witnessed the program.
During his guidance Mr Shyam Lohi, given awareness about the traffic rules and regulations and safety measures in a very interesting question-answer format. He, also gifted helmets to the students, for their right answers.

Expert Training Session on, ” Career  Enhancement  through LinkedIn”

On Date Feb. 01, 2024, an Expert Training Session on” Career Enhancement through LinkedIn” Conducted by Mr Tanmay S Dixit at GF’s Godavari College of Engineering Jalgaon. The Speaker Mr Tanmay S Dixit has been given a warm welcome and felicitation by, Dr Vijaykumar Wankhede (Training & Placement Officer). More than 300 Student Participants received the very fruitful guidance from Mr Dixit.
