Engineer’s Day Celebration

Engineers’ Day is celebrated on September 15th every year in India to remember the birthday of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, a great engineer and Bharat Ratna recipient. He is known for his contributions in the field of engineering, including the construction of dams, bridges, and irrigation systems. The Engineers Day celebration is an opportunity to recognize the contributions of engineers to society. It is also a day to encourage young people to pursue careers in engineering.

Today, September 15th, 2023, the Engineers Day celebration was held at the GF’s Godavari College of Engineering, Jalgaon. The programme began with lamp lighting, Saraswati Pujan, and offering garlands to the image of Visvesvaraya. After that, dignitaries were felicitated by Dr Vijaykumar Patil (Principal GF’S GCOE) with shawls and bouquets.

This was followed by a speech by the chief guest, Mr Ayush Prasad (Jalgaon District Collector). The chief guest highlighted the importance of engineers in society and encouraged young people to pursue careers in engineering. Also, he highlighted the very significant issues in the engineering field. Similarly, he underlined the qualities that should be acquired to become an excellent engineer. While giving information about an exemplary engineer, Mr.Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, he appropriately described the work done by him. He gave three basic mantras to the students: continuous learning, discovering the world, and child enthusiasm.

Dr Vaibhav Patil (DM Cardiologist, Godavari Foundation), present as a prominent guest, guided the students and explained the importance of engineers to society and the nation. He elaborated very interestingly on how, without engineers, every field is incomplete. At the end, he wished the students success as engineers and appreciated the students’ excellent organisation of the event.

Teacher’s Day Celebration

On 5th Septemb¹er 2023, students of GF’S GCOE Jalgaon, celebrated Teacher‘s Day with full of joy and enthusiasm. On this occasion Dr. Vijayakumar Patil ( Principal GF’S GCOE) Prof Hemant Ingle (Dean Academics), and all department heads of the college, were present as the prominent guest of today’s program. In morning session the students conducted all the academic activities including lectures practical by holding different academic posts.
In the afternoon session, the program was inaugurated by Saraswati Poojan and offering flowers to the image of Dr Radhakrishnan. Afterwards, the principal of the college and all department heads were welcomed with bouquets and greeting cards by all department student coordinators.

Also the students namely, Ganesh Raj Patil, Saurabh Salunkhe, Dinky, Khushboo and Purvesh Barhate delivered speeches very effectively and presented their views on Teacher’s Day and explained the importance of Teacher’s and Abhijit Pawar, a student, presented a poem based on teachers. Ganesraj and group presented a act on this occasion.

At the end of the program, the principal of the college Dr.Vijaykumar Patil praised the students for the good organization of the program, and highlighted the importance of the teacher in life by saying the importance of Teacher’s Day. Also he shaded light on Dr Radhakrishnan’s life journey.

Fresher’s Induction Program

The induction program scheduled from 22 Aug. to 29 Aug. 2023, inaugurated today in the gracious presence of Renowned DM Cardiologist Dr_VaibhavPatil ( Godavari Foundation ). Purpose of Student Induction Programmed is to help new students adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment, inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution, help them build bonds with other students and faculty members, and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self exploration.

All the newly admitted students of First Year Engineering, parents, all the faculties of first year department, all HOD’s, Training and Placement officer, Dean Academics and Principal, witnessed today’s induction program. Dr.VijayKumar Patil (Principal GF’S GCOE), introduced the students with the college infrastructure, available resources and the institute’s legacy of excellence and given best wishes for their future endeavours.

The afternoon session was glorified with the auspicious presence of Hon. Dr.Ulhas Patil sir ( President Godavari Foundation). On this occasion Hon Dr Sir, interacted with the students and their parents and advised the students to devote the upcoming 4 years of their lives for their bright future and assured about quality education.

World Entrepreneur Day

Dr Rajendra Dhande entrepreneur interacted with Godavari Foundation’s Godavari College Engineering, Jalgaon on the occasion of World Entrepreneur Day on date 21-Aug-2023. He took a reminiscent journey to entrepreneurship.

Dr Rajendra Dhande completed his Ph. D. in pharmacy. He owns around seven business units in Jalgaon to Mumbai. He started with goal setting. Thoughts moved to and for among taking ownership of job responsibility, learning from experience of predecessors, putting efforts, measurable work, taking key responsibility, problem identification, searching solutions, pilot study, market disruption, innovation, import export process, new information, right use of technology, exposure to current trends, developing active memory, complainant to solution provider, foresight, attitude, enterprenuploy, deliver more than expected, social aspects.

गोदावरी अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालयात ध्वजारोहण उत्साहात साजरा

गोदावरी अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालयात ७६व्या स्वातंत्र्य दिनानिमित्त विविध कार्यक्रमांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. याप्रसंगी माजी खासदार डॉ. उल्हास पाटील यांच्याहस्ते तिरंगा फडकविण्यात आला. त्यानंतर राष्ट्रगीताने मानवंदना देण्यात आली.
विद्यार्थ्यांनी विविध देशभक्तीपर गितांवर नृत्य सादर करत भारत मातेला वंदन केल्याचे पहावयास मिळाले.
गोदावरी सीबीएसई स्कूलच्या विद्यार्थ्यांनी सादर केलेल्या कलाविष्कारांना उत्स्फुर्त दाद मिळाली . यानंतर देशभक्तीपर गितांचे सादरीकरण करण्यात आले. याप्रसंगी डॉ. उल्हास पाटील मेडीकल कॉलेजचे डीन डॉ. एन.एस. आर्वीकर, अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य व्ही.एच पाटील यांच्यासह आदि उपस्थित होते.

सकल लेवा पाटीदार मंडळातर्फे गोदावरी फाउंडेशनच्या सहकार्याने झालेल्या सत्काराला उत्तर देताना ते बोलत होते. गोदावरी अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालयात हा सोहळा पार पडला. माजी आमदार निळकंठ फालक अध्यक्षस्थानी होते. गोदावरी फाउंडेशनचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. उल्हास पाटील प्रमुख पाहुणे
होते. व्यासपीठावर पुरुषोत्तम पिंपळे, कृष्णाजी खडसे, बंडूदादा काळे, नीता वराडे, डॉ. ज्योती महाजन, निला चौधरी, अॅड. प्रवीणचंद्र जंगले, कु. अनुवा अत्तरदे आदी उपस्थित होते.
प्रमोद अत्तरदे यांचा सत्कार गोदावरी फाउंडेशनचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. उल्हास पाटील सर यांच्या हस्ते शाल, श्रीफळ व स्मृतिचिन्ह देऊन झाला. श्री. अत्तरदे यांनी अमेरिकेमध्ये उद्योगांना असलेले अनुकूल वातावरण, तसेच बदलत्या काळानुसार तेथील रोजगार संधी, तिथे येणारे तंत्रज्ञान, जागतिक बाजारपेठ, भारतातील सद्यस्थिती आणि त्याचे सामाजिक पडसाद या विषयांवर मार्गदर्शन केले. अरुण बोरोले यांनी प्रास्ताविक केले. डॉ. मिलिंद पाटील यांनी सूत्रसंचालन केले. प्रा. हेमंत इंगळे यांनी आभार मानले.

International Yoga Day Celebration

International Yoga Day Celebration of Godavari College College of Engineering and Polytechnic, Jalgaon !!! The Teacher and  students of the College celebrated Yoga day through yoga practice sessions. By conducting yoga practices it enables the students to get know and practice yoga well. We are humans, all are confronted with many problems, stresses, and troubles. So in this particular confusing situation, Yoga acts as a key to unlock all the problems. It is a kind of practice which gives everyone a mental, physical and spiritual relief. Morning is considered as the most preferable time to practice yoga. Because it refreshes our mind and helps to attain a fit body and makes you enough flexible.

Farewell party arranged for final year students batch 2023.

Farewell party was organized for the TY B Tech students at Seminar hall, Computer Department 6:30 PM on 15th June 2023.The function began with the Sarasvati Pooja and felicitation of Dr Prof. V. H. Patil (Principal of GF’s GCOE,Jalgaon).Later department has played a video clip for students in which all the memories of students has been recalled. Also students shared their views and experience about the department.
