The IEEE Student Branch at GF’s Godavari College of Engineering, Jalgaon, hosted a dynamic panel discussion on E Waste management on March 19th, 2024!
This important event, led by TY BTech (Computer Engineering) students Bhole Jatin Dilip, Patil Nitin Dagadu, and Patil Ganeshraj Nimba, addressed the critical issue of electronic waste and its impact on our environment.
The event was organised under the guidance of esteemed faculty members Dr. Vijaykumar Patil (Principal), Prof. Hemant T Ingale (Dean Academics), Prof. Nilesh Y Choudhary (Dean Examination), Prof. Yogesh V Fengade, and Prof Devendra M Fegade.
The student panelists delivered insightful presentations on:-
The environmental consequences of E-waste
The concept of a circular economy for electronics
The 5Rs of waste management:- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover, Refuse
Utilizing greener materials in electronics production
This engaging discussion empowered students with valuable knowledge on responsible E-waste management practices.
The workshop was held from March 11 to March 15, 2024. It was organized for the second and third-year students of the Electrical Engineering Department.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Vijaykumar Patil, Principal of Godavari College of Engineering Jalgaon. Prof Amit Mhaskar ( GF’s GCOE Jalgaon) an expert in MATLAB, conducted the workshop.

The workshop was a great success and the participants benefited immensely from it. They learned a lot about MATLAB and its various applications in electrical engineering.
On day five, March 15, 2024, Valedictory of five days MATLAB Electrical workshop, was held in the presence of all the esteemed faculties of electrical department along with Principal Dr Vijaykumar Patil and all B-Tech electrical engineering students. Prof Amit Mhaskar taken all the efforts as a resource person and coordinator, for the success of the program under the guidance of Prof Mahesh H Patil ( HOD Electrical Engineering).
The Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities at Godavari Foundation’s Godavari College of Engineering in Jalgaon today on 15 March 2024, concluded a C-Programming workshop for first-year students. Held from March 11th to 15th, 2024, the workshop equipped students with valuable skills in this fundamental programming language.
Highlights of the Workshop:
In depth Training: Mrs Divya Premkumar Patil, HR & BDM Manager at Libity InfoTech, led the training sessions, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of C programming concepts.
Enhanced Skills: Through the workshop, students gained the ability to write individual C programs, solidifying their grasp of the language.
Hardware Interaction: The workshop emphasized C’s unique ability to interact with and control hardware, a crucial skill in the embedded software field.
Memory Management: Students learned valuable memory management techniques, a core concept in computer science.
Strong Foundation: C programming provides a strong foundation for understanding various fundamental computer science concepts.

Today, March 13th, 2024, the college organized a program called “Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye” (My First Vote for the Nation). This initiative aimed to empower young voters and educate them about the importance of participating in the democratic process.

गोदावरी अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालय व तंत्रनिकेतन जळगाव यांचे तर्फे दि. 12 मार्च 2024 रोजी विकसित भारत अभियानांतर्गत प्लास्टिक मुक्त भारत व पर्यावरण याविषयी जनजागृती करणेसाठी भव्य पथसंचलनाचे आयोजन केले होते. या निमित्ताने महाविद्यालयातील तंत्रनिकेतनचे सर्व विद्यार्थी या पथसंचालनात सहभागी झाले होते. कार्यक्रमाच्या सुरुवातीला महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. विजयकुमार पाटील यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांना विकसित भारत अभियान 2047 व येत्या सन 2047 मध्ये विकसित भारत कसा असावा व 2047 चा विकसित भारत घडविण्यासाठी विद्यार्थ्यांनी काय प्रयत्न केले पाहिजेत व त्यांचे प्रयत्न कसे महत्त्वाचे आहेत याबाबत उपयुक्त मार्गदर्शन केले. तदनंतर महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. विजयकुमार पाटील यांनी हिरवा झेंडा दाखवून पथसंचलनाची सुरुवात केली. पथसंचलनातील विविध घोषणांनी अवघा परिसर दुमदुमून गेला. यावेळी विद्यार्थ्यांनी घोषणांच्या व घोष फलकांच्या माध्यमातून विविध स्तरावर जनजागृती केली. सदर प्रसंगी महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ.विजयकुमार पाटील अधिष्ठाता प्रा. हेमंत इंगळे तंत्रनिकेतन समन्वयक प्रा. दीपक झांबरे, तंत्रनिकेतन अधिष्ठाता प्रा. अतुल बऱ्हाटे, सर्व विभाग प्रमुख त्याचप्रमाणे सर्व शिक्षक व शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी उपस्थित होते.
Today, on March 7, 2024, GF’s Godavari College of Engineering Jalgaon, organized a seminar on “Amrit Kaal Vimarsh: Vikasit Bharat @2047” under the guidance of Dr. Javed Sheikh, Senior Thermal Architect at Google Silicon Lab Bengaluru. The seminar focused on the theme of Semiconductor Packaging and its importance in the development of India as a developed nation by 2047.
The seminar began with a welcome address by Dr Vijay Kumar Patil, Principal of Godavari College of Engineering. In his address, Dr. Patil highlighted the importance of the Amrit Kaal period and the need for India to focus on developing its technological capabilities in order to become a developed nation.
Dr Javed Sheikh then delivered the keynote address on “Fundamentals and Challenges from Academic – Industrial Perspective for Vikasit Bharat 2047”. In his talk, Dr. Sheikh discussed the importance of semiconductors in the modern world and the challenges that India faces in developing its own semiconductor industry. He also highlighted the opportunities that exist for students and researchers in the field of semiconductor packaging.
The seminar was followed by a question and answer session, in which Dr. Sheikh answered questions from the audience. The seminar was a great success and was attended by a large number of students, faculty members, and professionals. It provided a valuable forum for discussion and debate on the important topic of semiconductor packaging and its role in India’s development.

The seminar was organized by the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, GF’s Godavari College of Engineering, Jalgaon. The objective of the seminar was to create awareness among students and faculty members about the importance of semiconductor packaging and its role in India’s development.
About the Speaker:- Dr Javed Sheikh is a Senior Thermal Architect at Google Silicon Lab Bengaluru. He has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and has worked on a variety of projects, including the development of high-performance processors and mobile devices. Dr. Sheikh is a passionate advocate for the development of India’s semiconductor industry and is committed to helping India become a leader in this field. Prof. Shafiqur Rahman taken all the efforts as a program coordinator under the guidance of Dr. Vijay Kumar Patil, for the success of the program. The program was hosted by Mr. Jay Khadse ( student).
Dr VijayKumar Patil presented the preamble to the cultural night and reported on academic and extracurricular achievements of students and faculties.
Dr Prashant Solanke emphasized the importance of quality in all aspects of life.
Mr Kishor Dhake encouraged students to pursue self-employment and contribute to national development.
Mr Sandeep Gavit motivated students to join civil services and serve the nation, while also advising on responsible social media usage.
Dr Ulhas Patil sir congratulated the institute for completing 25 years of excellence and advised students to focus on their careers.
The annual gathering of Ulhas2k24 concluded in grand style with a spectacular cultural night at GF’s GCOE Jalgaon!
Students took the stage with electrifying solo and group dance performances, showcasing their talent and passion. The night was filled with vibrant energy and infectious enthusiasm as the crowd cheered them on.
But the entertainment didn’t stop there! Melodious songs sung by the students filled the air, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Their soulful voices and heartfelt performances left the audience mesmerized.
This cultural extravaganza was the perfect way to bring Ulhas2k24 to a memorable close. It was a night filled with laughter, joy, and the power of music and dance.
