About VLSI and Embedded Department
This program has been specially designed to meet the increasing need for professionals who would be able to respond to the convergence between hardware and software. It is meant for students who wish to build a professional career oriented towards research and development, working at the cutting edge of technology in the area of VLSI and Embedded System.
This program comprises both advanced course work and research. The broad areas of research that can be pursued are communication systems, VLSI and embedded systems, and machine intelligence. The curriculum includes foundation courses, specialization courses. At the end of the first year, students are required to take a writing course. The students are required to pursue one full year (two semesters) of research work.
