“Career Opportunities and Life in the Indian Air Force”

GF’s Godavari College of Engineering and Polytechnic, Jalgaon, organized a programme on, ” Career Opportunities and Life in the Indian Air Force” on June 11, 2023, at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall of the College. At that time, Chief Guest Wing Commander Ravi Sachin, (Commanding Officer 6, ASC, AF, Sergent) Digambar Singh, Corporal Bhanwar Singh, Principal of the college Hon’ble Dr. Vijaykumar Patil, Programme Coordinator and TPO Dr Vijaykumar Wankhede, and all HOD’s were present on the stage. Wing Commander Ravi Sachin, (Commanding Officer, 6, ASC, AF,) guided the students about career opportunities in the Indian Air Forces and life after joining the Indian Air Forces. He discussed with the students various ways, exam schemes, and patterns to join the Indian Air Forces. After that, he and his team conducted some activities and distributed some prizes to students.
For the success of this programme, efforts were made by all staff members. The programme was hosted by Jayesh Khadse, and Aditi Pawar expressed a vote of thanks.

गोदावरी अभियांत्रीकीत   विभागीय क्रीडा स्पर्धांचा शुभारंभ

जळगाव-| दिनांक :- 07-11-2023 डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर तंत्रशास्त्र विद्यापीठ, लोणेरे अर्थात ‘बाटू’ अंतर्गत जळगाव, धुळे, नंदुरबार व नाशिक या विभागीय क्रीडा स्पर्धा आजपासून गोदावरी अभियांत्रीकीत सुरू झाल्या आहेत. याप्रसंगी महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. व्ही.एच. पाटील यांच्यासह मान्यवरांची उपस्थिती होती. या स्पर्धेसाठी गोदावरी फाउंडेशन जळगाव चे अध्यक्ष मा. खासदार डॉक्टर उल्हास पाटील सदस्य डॉक्टर केतकीताई पाटील तसेच हृदयरोग तज्ञ डॉक्टर वैभव पाटील यांनी शुभेच्छा संदेश दिलेत. याच्या उदघाटनानंतर कबड्डीचे सामने रंगले आहेत.

“Awareness of Ragging  and Anti Ragging Measures”

November 3, 2023, a  Workshop on ” Awareness of Ragging  and Anti Ragging Measures”, was organised by  GF’s  GCOE Jalgaon, for the First year diploma students.  Adv.  Tushar Patil, was invited as the resource person for this program. He guided students about ragging and Anti-Ragging Measures, adverse effects of ragging to the students, what exactly constitutes ragging, why it is a criminal offence and who is liable to be prosecuted for it. Not only the offending parties, but the silent witness would be held equally responsible. Also he appealed to first year’s students that, while these rules are to protect the juniors, but these should not be misused by them as it could destroy someone’s career.  Dr Vijay Kumar  Patil (Principal GF’S GCOE Jalgaon), also guided the students about college culture and insisted the students to strictly obey the rules and regulations to maintain the harmony.  Prof Atul Barhate (Dean Academics Polytechnic),  Prof Dipak  Zambre (Coordinator Polytechnic), all the teaching staff of first year and all first year students of Diploma were present for the program.

Today, November 03, 2023 an Institute Level Research Competition ” Avishkar  2024″ was organised by,  GF’s,  Godavari  College  of  Engineering  Jalgaon in association with  Dr  Babasaheb The inauguration of the program, took place in the presence of  Dr  Vijayakumar  Patil (Principal GF’S GCOEJ), Prof.  Hemant  Ingle (Dean Academics), Dr.  Vijayakumar  Wankhede (Training and Placement Officer),  Prof  Mahesh  Patil (Head of Electrical Engineering Department),  Prof  Nilesh  Vani (Head of Computer Engineering Department ),  Prof  Tushar  Koli (Head of Mechanical Engineering Department),  Prof  A  D  Vishwakarma(Head of Al & DS Engineering Department), Program Coordinator,  Prof  Nemichand  Saini, all the Faculties and students of the institute.

After inauguration,  Prof  Nemichand  Saini ( Institute Level Avishkar 2024 Coordinator) briefs the objectives of the Avishkar 2024 to the audience.

During principal address,  Dr  Vijayakumar  Patil, enlightened over the importance of research and innovation, and encouraged students to learn new things and develop their technical skills. The research engages societies and scholar to think critically to make them capable to find solutions to various problems.

In total, 22 participants, participated in Avishkar2024 competition and presented their innovative ideas through flex.

 Prof  Rajendra  V  Patil (E&TC Engineering).  Prof  Madhuri  Zawar (Computer Engineering) and  Prof  Tushar  koli (Mechanical Engineering ), judged the competition.

 Mr  Vaishnav  Chaudhari (Final year Electrical Engineering), have been declared the winner and  Mr  Suhas  Solanke (Second year E&TC Engineering), declared as a Runner up for College level Avishkar2024. Prof. Nemichand Saini (Institute Level Avishkar 2024 Coordinator) and Departmental project Coordinators; Prof. Sachin Maheshri, Prof. Nilesh Chaudhari, Prof. V. D Chaudhari and Prof. K M Mahajan, taken the efforts for the success of the program, under the guidance of Prof Hemant Ingale and Dr. Vijaykumar Patil. Mr Prathmesh Pawar (E&TC student) hosted the program.

कॅम्पस टू कॉर्पोरेट जर्नीवर अमेरिकेतील बेल लॅबोरेटरी चे डॉ.सुनील पाटील यांचे मार्गदर्शन

गोदावरी अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालय येथे बेल लॅबोरेटरी अमेरिका येथील शास्त्रज्ञ डॉ. सुनील पाटील यांचे कॅम्पस टू कॉर्पोरेट जर्नी या विषयावर इंडस्ट्रियल एक्सपर्ट टॉक दिनांक २ नोव्हेंबर २०२३ रोजी आयोजित करण्यात आले होते. या कार्यक्रमाप्रसंगी गोदावरी अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. विजयकुमार पाटील तसेच डॉ. नितीन भोळे (प्रमुख,बेसिक सायन्सेस अँड ह्यूम्यानिटीज), डॉ. अनिल कुमार विश्वकर्मा (प्रमुख,आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजन्स अँड डाटा सायन्स),  प्रा.तुषार कोळी(प्रमुख, यंत्र विभाग), प्रा. महेश पाटील (प्रमुख विद्युत विभाग), प्रा. निलेश वाणी (संगणक विभागप्रमुख) तसेच सर्व प्राध्यापक वर्ग उपस्थित होते. कार्यक्रमाच्या सुरुवातीला महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ.विजयकुमार पाटील यांनी डॉ. सुनिल पाटील यांचे पुष्पगुच्छ देऊन स्वागत केले.

याप्रसंगी डॉ.सुनील पाटील यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांना मार्गदर्शन करताना विविध मुद्द्यांवर उदाहरणासहित समजावून सांगितले. शिक्षण घेत असताना बर्‍याचशा विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये न्यूनगंड असतो, त्यावर यशस्वीपणे कसे सामोरे जायचे याबद्दल त्यांनी मार्गदर्शन केले. महाविद्यालयात असताना प्रत्येक गोष्टींमध्ये सहभाग नोंदविणे गरजेचे असते. सॉफ्ट स्किल संदर्भात सांगताना आपण लिखाण, वाचन, प्रेझेंटेशन स्किल, अस्खलित बोलणे या गोष्टींवर काम करायला पाहिजे. आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तरावर काम करीत असताना फॉरेन लँग्वेज चे महत्व कसे असते हे समजावून सांगितले तसेच आतापासून त्या लँग्वेज चा अभ्यास करणे आवश्यक असते. टीम वर्क मध्ये काम करत असताना गोष्टी या सोप्या होत असतात, त्यामुळे टीमवर्क गरजेचे असते. शिक्षण घेत असताना स्वतःचे स्वॉट अ‍ॅनालिसीस करणे गरजेचे असते. त्यावरून आपण स्वतःच्या स्ट्रेंथ आणि विकनेस वर काम करू शकतो. विद्यार्थ्यांनी आतापासूनच हँडस ऑन प्रॅक्टिस वर भर देणे गरजेचे आहे. जेणेकरून प्रत्येक गोष्ट विद्यार्थ्यांना सहज आणि सोपी वाटेल, तसेच त्यांनी मॉक्स कोर्सेस संदर्भात विद्यार्थ्यांना मार्गदर्शन करून अभ्यासक्रमाच्या बाहेरचे कोर्सेस या माध्यमातून करावे यासाठी चालना दिली.

या सर्व गोष्टी करण्यासाठी आपल्या आसपासचे वातावरण पोषक असणे गरजेचे आहे, हे त्यांनी नमूद केले. सद्य परिस्थितीमध्ये इंटर डिसीप्लीनरी कोलॅबरेशन ची आवश्यकता आहे. अकॅडमीक च्या वेगवेगळ्या शाखांशी होणे गरजेचे आहे. तसेच टिचिंग इड सर्वीस नॉट अ जॉब असेही त्यांनी नमूद केले.अशा बर्‍याचशा वेगवेगळ्या गोष्टींवर त्यांनी सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांशी चर्चा केली. त्याचप्रमाणे त्यांना विचारलेल्या प्रश्नांची त्यांनी समर्पक उत्तरे दिली. गोदावरी फाउंडेशन चे अध्यक्ष डॉ.उल्हास पाटील व सदस्य डॉ.केतकी पाटील यांनी कार्यक्रमाच्या आयोजनाबद्दल कौतुक केले. कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन व आभार प्रदर्शन खुशबू पाटील व डिंकी शदानी या विद्यार्थिनींनी  केले. कार्यक्रमाचे समन्वयक प्रा. तृषाली शिंपी या होत्या, त्यांनी  डॉ.नितीन भोळे व डॉ.अनिल कुमार विश्वकर्मा यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली केले.

डॉ.सुनील पाटील यांचा परिचय
डॉ. सुनील पाटील यांनी २२ वर्षे अमेरिकेमध्ये काम केले आहे. त्यानंतर ते पुणे येथील सिम्बॉयसिस युनिव्हर्सिटी मध्ये दहा वर्ष कार्यरत होते. त्यांनी जगभरामध्ये तसेच भारतामध्ये एज्युकेशन सिस्टीम या विषयावर सखोल असे काम केले आहे व त्याद्वारे सर्वांना मार्गदर्शन करीत आहे. तसेच त्यांनी एम्पॉवरिंग ऑफ फॅकल्टी इन इंजिनिअरींग एज्युकेशन या विषयावर पुस्तकाचे लिखाण केले आहे. तसेच त्यांनी बेल लॅब अमेरिका येथे  काम केलेले आहे बेल लॅब मध्ये नानाविध शोधकार्य केले गेले आहेत
