Glimpses of the Internal Hackathon 2023, under the  SIH 2023, happened at  GF’s  GCOE Jalgaon. on date 27th September 2023 the  Internal Hackathon competition happened at  GF’s  GCOE Jalgaon at college level.Total 19 teams participated in the Internal Hackathon and presented their ide on the various themes decided by SIH 2023. For the competition Mr  Girish Ahirrao (Director Krupal Engineering Works),  Mr Ashpaq Shaikh (Senior Software Developer Softaid Computers) and  Prof Tushar Koli (HOD Mechanical Department, GF’S GCOE) were present as judges.Prof MH Patil (SPOC SIH23), presented preamble to the program. For the inauguration of the Internal Hackathon, the chief guests Mr. Girish Ahirrao, Mr. Ashpak Shaikh,  Prof Hemant  Ingale ( Dean Academics), Prof. MH Patil (HOD Elect. Dept.), Prof. Tushar Koli (HOD Mech. Dept.), Prof Nilesh Wani (HOD. Comp. Dept.), Dr AnilKumar  Vishwakarma ( HOD AI&DS) &  Dr Vijay Kumar Wankhede (T & officer), were present. Prof. Hemant Ingale given warm welcome, and felicitation to the chief guests, and given best wishes to all the Participants of the competition.

सचिव डॉ. वर्षा पाटील व सदस्य डॉ. केतकी पाटील, डॉ. वैभव पाटील, प्राचार्य डॉ. विजयकुमार पाटील, प्रा. दीपक झांबरे यांच्यासह सर्व विभाग प्रमुख व प्राध्यापक वर्ग उपस्थित होते.
महाविद्यालयांमध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी विविध उपक्रम आणि स्पर्धा राबविण्यात येणार आहे. तुषार पाटील, हेमंत झांबरे, आशिष पाटील, हिमांशू पाटील, अभिजीत पवार, हिमाक्षी राणे, दिपाली खोडके,
सानिका राजकुळे व प्राची गिरासे यांनी सहकार्य केले. प्रा. आर. व्ही. पाटील, प्रा. सचिन महेश्री व प्रा. चंद्रकांत शिंपी यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली विद्यार्थी समिती कार्य करीत आहे.

Engineer’s Day Celebration

Engineers’ Day is celebrated on September 15th every year in India to remember the birthday of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, a great engineer and Bharat Ratna recipient. He is known for his contributions in the field of engineering, including the construction of dams, bridges, and irrigation systems. The Engineers Day celebration is an opportunity to recognize the contributions of engineers to society. It is also a day to encourage young people to pursue careers in engineering.

Today, September 15th, 2023, the Engineers Day celebration was held at the GF’s Godavari College of Engineering, Jalgaon. The programme began with lamp lighting, Saraswati Pujan, and offering garlands to the image of Visvesvaraya. After that, dignitaries were felicitated by Dr Vijaykumar Patil (Principal GF’S GCOE) with shawls and bouquets.

This was followed by a speech by the chief guest, Mr Ayush Prasad (Jalgaon District Collector). The chief guest highlighted the importance of engineers in society and encouraged young people to pursue careers in engineering. Also, he highlighted the very significant issues in the engineering field. Similarly, he underlined the qualities that should be acquired to become an excellent engineer. While giving information about an exemplary engineer, Mr.Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, he appropriately described the work done by him. He gave three basic mantras to the students: continuous learning, discovering the world, and child enthusiasm.

Dr Vaibhav Patil (DM Cardiologist, Godavari Foundation), present as a prominent guest, guided the students and explained the importance of engineers to society and the nation. He elaborated very interestingly on how, without engineers, every field is incomplete. At the end, he wished the students success as engineers and appreciated the students’ excellent organisation of the event.

Teacher’s Day Celebration

On 5th Septemb¹er 2023, students of GF’S GCOE Jalgaon, celebrated Teacher‘s Day with full of joy and enthusiasm. On this occasion Dr. Vijayakumar Patil ( Principal GF’S GCOE) Prof Hemant Ingle (Dean Academics), and all department heads of the college, were present as the prominent guest of today’s program. In morning session the students conducted all the academic activities including lectures practical by holding different academic posts.
In the afternoon session, the program was inaugurated by Saraswati Poojan and offering flowers to the image of Dr Radhakrishnan. Afterwards, the principal of the college and all department heads were welcomed with bouquets and greeting cards by all department student coordinators.

Also the students namely, Ganesh Raj Patil, Saurabh Salunkhe, Dinky, Khushboo and Purvesh Barhate delivered speeches very effectively and presented their views on Teacher’s Day and explained the importance of Teacher’s and Abhijit Pawar, a student, presented a poem based on teachers. Ganesraj and group presented a act on this occasion.

At the end of the program, the principal of the college Dr.Vijaykumar Patil praised the students for the good organization of the program, and highlighted the importance of the teacher in life by saying the importance of Teacher’s Day. Also he shaded light on Dr Radhakrishnan’s life journey.
